Mr. John Hardy Hewett 77, of Shallotte, NC formerly of Bolivia, NC transitioned on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center, Bolivia, NC.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Barbara J. Hewett and the son of the late Mr. John Wesley Hewett and Mrs. Lucy Bell Hewett.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 2:00pm from Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Bolivia, NC with Pastor Joey Hill eulogizing.
Mr. Hewett is survived by his children: Minister Jeffrey Gause, Esterlane Gause-Graham, Alex Greene, Leslie Regina Gause, Yolanda Gause, Noris Gause, one sister: Mrs. Luella Bryant (Joseph), one brother-in-law: Mr. William T. Gause, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
