Deputies who stopped a woman for speeding on U.S. 74 confiscated a large quantity of illegal narcotics Sept. 14.
Keoni Mauricia White, 33, was held under $90,100 secured bond, according to jail records. She was charged with two counts of trafficking in opiates, felony possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone and clonazepam, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of suboxone, resisting an officer, and failure to appear on a misdemeanor. She listed addresses in Greensboro and 1459 Blacksmith Rd., Bolton on court documents.
White was allegedly driving 71 in a 55 mph zone when she was stopped by a deputy, warrants show. A search of her Ford automobile turned up 39 oxycodone, 15 Clonazepam and multiple other drugs, along with 1.56 grams of crack cocaine, Brillo pads and glass pipes used for ingesting crack.
White was previously charged with trafficking in narcotics in 2021, and allowed by the District Attorney’s office to plea to reduced charges.
