Alleged Bladen Dealers Jailed

A joint operation between Bladen County narcotics officers and the Elizabethtown Police led to the arrest of two alleged drug dealers Friday.

Eric Mitchell, 35, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and fentanyl; felony possession of fentanyl; maintaining a dwelling for drug activities; and drug paraphernalia. He was held under $125,000 secured bond. His address was shown on court documents as 905 M and M St., Elizabethtown.

Javonda Shanai Rogers, 33, also of 905 M and M Street, was held under a $50,000 secured bond, charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine; felony possession of fentanyl; maintaining a dwelling for drug activities; felony possession of cocaine; and drug paraphernalia.

 In an unrelated case, Omar Jermaine Mathis, 36, was charged with maintaining a dwelling and possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine and marijuana. His bond was set at $50,000. His address was listed as 810 James St., Elizabethtown, where he was alleged to have maintained the home for illegal activities.
