Gloria Jean Bellamy Boone, 93, of 781 Cherry Town Road, Hallsboro, NC, died Thursday, September 19, 2024, at home.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 27, at Peoples Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and Friday one hour prior to the service. Eastern Star rites will be performed Thursday at 5:00 PM.
Surviving are her daughters, Barbara A. Barbour of Magnolia, DE, Mamie Bland of Whiteville, and Vera Macon of Killeen, TX; sons, James “Mike” Boone of Lumberton, NC and Walter Boone of Madisonville, KY; sisters, Wendy P. Baldwin of Lake Waccamaw, NC, Wanda Pierce and Shirley Fowler of Hallsboro, NC.
