Helen Louise Pearce Bush of Green Sea, South Carolina, passed away on November 17, 2024 after a 6-plus year-long battle with colon cancer. She was born on November 1, 1948 in Whitesboro, New York.
She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Pearce; her mother, Winifred Boss Pearce; and her sister, Linda Giordano. She leaves behind her husband, Daniel F. Bush, Sr. of Green Sea, South Carolina and her son, Daniel F. Bush, Jr. and his wife Ann of Rochester, New York; two nieces, Wendy LaLonda and Susan Felicia. She also leaves behind her two beloved Yorkies, Tucker and Kimber.Helen was a retired high school teacher with a Master’s Degree in Business Education from Nazareth College, Rochester, New York. She began her career as an executive secretary for twelve years and then taught business courses for eighteen years including Accounting, Virtual Enterprise, Business Law, Keyboarding, Shorthand and Speed-Writing.
Helen was an active member of Tabor City Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the adult choir. She was an original member of Reclaim Ministries and loved singing alto and second soprano at any opportunity she was given. She loved being a part of her “Older Ladies” Sunday School Class at TCBC. And she was an avid reader throughout her lifetime.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Tabor City Baptist Church.
