Betty Faye Ivey Forrester, 78, of the Macedonia Community of Evergreen, met her Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at her home.
Betty was born on August 21, 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband, of Archie Clarence Forrester; parents, Benjamin Ivey, Sr. and Sylvia Nance Ivey; brother, Benny Ivey; son-in-law, Greg Ward.
Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Evergreen.
Visitation will be from 2:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at the church.
Betty was a lifelong member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where she enjoyed worshipping her Lord and participating in church fellowship.
Betty leaves behind a daughter, Renee F. Ward Pridgen (Maurice)of Whiteville; grandchildren, Lawson Ward and Sarah-Ivey Ward, both of the home; great-grandson, Colton Ford of Lake View, SC; beloved dog, Cocoa; siblings, Bonnie Burge (Steve), Frankie Ivey, both of Evergreen; sister-in-law, Ann Ivey of Evergreen; host of nieces, nephews and their families.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church or to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
