Janice Merle Harris Byrd, 73, of Lake Waccamaw, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Janice was born on January 23, 1951, daughter of the late Chester Harris and Meta Molly Ward Harris. Along with her parents, Janice is also preceded in death by three brothers, Ray Harris, Cecil Harris, and Willard Harris.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday evening at the funeral home. 
Janice leaves behind her loving husband, Roger Byrd; children, Paula Leigh Byrd Garrell and husband, Bobby, Chester Roger Byrd; grandchildren, Matthew Byrd, Heath Byrd, Hannah Garrell, Harley Grace Cammarono, Hayden Electra Byrd; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kaylena, Addie, Reston, Azalea, Charlie; sister, Sarah Roberts
