Mrs. Mary G. Bellamy 84, of Whiteville, NC gave the Lord her hand on Thursday, March 27, 2025, and entered into eternity at The Angel House, Lower Cape Fear Life Center, Whiteville, NC. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Arvia Freeman and Mrs. Hattie Freeman, and the wife of the late Mr. Luther Bellamy, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1:00 pm from New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Anthony Rowell eulogizing. Burial will follow in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Bellamy is survived by one sister: Mary Pearson, two step-daughters: Dorothy Marley and Edith Bailey, special nephew/son: Rudolph Ford, a host of grandchildren, great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, and again one prior to the service.
Friends may visit the family at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Marley located at 1333 Old Lumberton Road, Whiteville, NC, from 3 to 7 pm daily.
