Truman Rudolph Jones, 79, of 812 West Burkhead Street, Whiteville, NC, died Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 5, at Mill Branch Baptist Church, 645 Harrelsonville Road, Whiteville, NC, by Pastor John Langley. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Dewitt Jones; children, Theresa McMillian of Charlotte, NC, Carlton Jones of Brooklyn, NY, Truman Rudolph Jones, Jr. of Tampa, FL, Cindy Norwood of Charlotte, NC, Daren Jones of Tampa, FL, and Kimora Joy of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Juanita Green, Mary Ann Jones, Phyllis McKoy, and Denise Bryant of Whiteville; brothers, Herman Jones and Danny Jones of Whiteville, Herbert Jones of New Mexico, and Bobby Jones of Whiteville.
