CCN Community Heroes – Matt Lewis and Russell Tyler
Local beekeepers are staying busy, especially in the Wooded Acres Community of Lake Waccamaw. Jonathan Ward and Annie Jenkins put out a call to save not just one, but three swarms at their Oak Road homes. Matt Lewis of Hallsboro relocated one swarm on Friday, and Russell Tyler of Waccamaw Apiaries was called out to help with the two other hives on Saturday.
