Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Just like yesterday, the narrative is short and sweet today. Strong high pressure building offshore today will keep bone-dry weather in our area into Friday. As the high continues to push offshore, temperatures jump to well-above-normal levels for the Wednesday-Friday time period.
A weak frontal boundary will move into the area Friday. The latest guidance suggests that the frontal boundary will be diffuse and tend to “wash out” over the area going into Saturday. I put in a 30% chance for thunderstorms for Saturday given a bit of uncertainty, and the fact that there could be some instability over the area thanks to the decaying frontal boundary. A push of cooler air arrives by Sunday… with indications showing more dry weather continuing well into next week.
