Joshua Harris announced today (Wednesday) that he will not continue his run for Columbus County Sheriff. Harris announced his departure on social media, as he announced his entry into the race in December. He was the third of four candidates to announce a run for the office.
School is almost out for the summer, but Jesus is in session all over the county during June and July. There is no shortage of VBS fun in Columbus in 2025.
Law enforcement and parents scrambled to East Columbus Junior-Senior High Monday after a prank call about a school shooter. The sheriff’s office reported that a male juvenile called 911 and asked for immediate assistance, claiming there was an active shooter on campus.
