Elaine Gore Murray passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at home in Lake Waccamaw. She was born on December 29, 1942 in Whiteville, NC to the late Archie Green and the late Annie Laurie Newsome.
Elaine was ready to go home and walk with Jesus. Her loving spirit will always be remembered by her family and friends.
To cherish her memory, Elaine leaves behind her husband, Allen Murray; a daughter, Sherry Gore Ward; a son, Gene Gore (Teresa Adams); three granddaughters, Kim Dunn (Ryan Dunn), Chelsey Ward Duncan and Courtney Ward (Jeff McDowell); and five great-grandchildren, Jenny Dunn, Addison Dunn, Aiden Duncan, Kaidence Duncan and Abel Duncan.
