Honoring Our Fallen Heroes
On Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office in Whiteville will be hosting a Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony honoring the courageous men from Columbus County law enforcement who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The public is invited to stand alongside representatives from all Columbus County Law Enforcement Agencies as we pay tribute to these fallen heroes and the legacy they have left behind.
Family members of fallen officers are especially encouraged to attend as Guests of Honor. Your loved one’s sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we are humbled to honor their memory.
Let us gather as a community to remember, reflect, and give thanks for those who gave everything to protect and serve.
