Verita Gail Edwards Davis, 69, of Whiteville, died on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Lower Cape Fear Angel House in Whiteville.
Verita was born on September 2, 1955, daughter of the late Hanson Edwards and Alice Faye Simms Duncan.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
Survivors include her husband, George Alan Davis of the home; son, Jonathan Alan Davis of the home; daughter, Amanda Rose Davis of Fontana, CA; siblings, Melissa Robinson, Brenda Hewett, and Robert Duncan.
