Willie Jean Davis, 89, of 9827 NC Highway 87, Tar Heel, NC, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, NC.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Dr. Timothy A. Lance. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the Headquarters Wednesday following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Cromartie Davis; children, Debra Ann M. Davis of Brick, NJ and Priscilla Davis Harris of Burlington, NJ; sister, Everlene Davis of Whiteville; stepchildren, LaDonna Damon of Rahway, NJ, Frederick Cromartie of Council, NC, and William Kyle Davis of Clearwater, FL.
