Betty Lou Worley, age 70, of Whiteville, died on August 6, 2025 at Columbus Regional Healthcare Systems.
Betty was born on November 7, 1954 to Bobby Gray Worley Sr and Shirley Lou Carmichael. She is preceded in death by her father.
Betty worked as a beautician at JC Penny in Lumberton for 15 years and was also formerly employed at Walmart in Whiteville.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
Family will speak to friends prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the chapel.
Surviving family includes her mother, Shirley Lou Carmichael of Whiteville; siblings, Shirlene Worley Cantrell (Ricky) of Lake Park, GA, Karen Worley Kioseff of Evergreen, and Bobby G. Worley Jr. of Valdosta, GA; and eight nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
