Norman Gail Sealey Buffkin, age 83, of Whiteville, passed away peacefully at Liberty Commons Rehab on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was born in Robeson County on October 15, 1941 to the late Bennie Sealey and Louise Cox Sealey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother; Coy Sealey and a brother in law; Gene Lewis Buffkin.
Gail worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant at the Tabor City Police Department.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband; Douglas Crowell Buffkin and other special family members.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 am at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Coffey officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am -10:00 am prior to the service. Burial will follow at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
