Brenda Raye Gore Vaughn, 74, formerly of Whiteville, died Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Liberty Commons.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 22, at Peoples Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Brenda is survived by her son, Jeramie Vaughn of Butner, NC; brothers, Mackie Gore Hill of Tulsa, OK, Johnny Edwards of Hallsboro, NC, Terry Edwards of Carolina Beach, NC, Michael Edwards of Manhattan, KS, Thomas Edwards of Raleigh, NC, Timothy Edwards of Atlanta, GA, and Chris Edwards of Whiteville; sisters, Joann Edge of Oceanside, CA, Judy Hill of Norfolk, VA, Doris Edwards of Whiteville, and Caroline Edwards of Charlotte, NC.
