Four suspects are now in custody for the July 6 gunfight in Whiteville. Qhandarion Gaddy and Jalon McMillian were arrested Wednesday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm into a dwelling and other felonies. Shamar Johnson was jailed a few days after the incident on five counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling. Rahmel Chavis was arrested earlier this month. A baby was almost hit when multiple gunmen opened fire just after 3:00 a.m., causing $65,000 in damages to vehicles and buildings.

Two Tabor City woman were charge with discharging a firearm in the city after allegedly firing a revolver at several dogs. TCPD were called to 104 E. Bell Street around 11:30 a.m. Saturday to a report of shots being fired, according to the report.
