School resource officers arrested a Whiteville woman on assault charges at Central Middle School Tuesday. Kenya McMillan, 40, and a juvenile faces charges of disorderly conduct and simple assault, according to sheriff’s reports. The victim in the case was a twelve year old.
Deputies arrested a Loris woman on attempted murder charges after she allegedly shot at a woman in Tabor City. Ivette Crystal Bellamy, age 49, was held under no bond.
An Elizabethtown woman is being held under $1 million after allegedly stabbing her husband to death. The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office reported that Zyasia Crumb, 21, was charged with murdering Micah McKoy in their McLean Road home. A motive for the killing was not released.
