Thursday at Vineyard Golf of White Lake, Blake Davis, Knox Gooden, Kent Fisher, and Mike Sealey took first place in the Thundering Herd with a -5. Second place went to Ben Harrelson, Mitchell Henderson, Mark Mendell, and Peyton Tatum who shot a -4.

SFGA
In the SFGA tournament held Tuesday at Land O’ Lakes in Whiteville, L.R. Odham, Terry Blackburn, and Paul Stanley took first place with a 109 in the two net score format. Joey Todd, Bobby Gooden, John Blake, and Roger Walton shot a 103 for second place.
The next tournament is being played today at Timberlake Golf Course at Clinton.

The Fourth Annual Augustine Family Agricultural Scholarship Tournament will be held on Sept. 20 at Vineyard Golf at White Lake. Proceeds raise scholarship funds for the next generations of agricultural leaders. To register call 910.247.6132.
Land O’ Lakes Championship
Land O’ Lakes has scheduled its Club Championship Sept. 13-14. Saturday tee times begin at 10 a.m. and Sunday’s start will be at 1 p.m.
Players will be flighted by tees/handicaps and prizes awarded for gross winners in Blue tee flight and gross and net winners in all other flights. Flights are Blue tees, White tees, Gold tees (65 and over), Red tees (75 and over), and Red tees (ladies). Entry fee will be $50 per player. To register, call 910.642.5757.
Bay Tree VFD Tournament
The 22nd Annual Bay Tree Volunteer Fire Department golf tournament is scheduled for Sept. 13 at Vineyard Golf of White Lake. Registration and check in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and start at 10 a.m. Awards and a meal will follow after the tournament.
There will be winners for the longest drive and closest to pin, and putting contests along with two opportunities to win either a car or $20,000 for a hole-in-one.
