Kalani Rae Melvin, Kendall Xaiya Melvin, Josephina Renee Melvin, Sophia Nachelle Melvin passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
Kalani, Kendall, Josie, and Sophie were bright lights who brought joy to everyone around them. They loved being outdoors, whether at the pool, the beach, or soaking up the sunshine, and their laughter filled every space with warmth. Their days were happiest when singing, dancing, and sharing their favorite treats of strawberries and grapes.
Each carried a special sparkle: Kalani loved sunsets, Kendall adored rainbows, Josie never turned down pizza, and Sophia’s favorite was watching Bluey. They loved their church, their friends, and their family deeply, and though their time here was far too short, their love and light will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew them.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel.
Family will speak to friends following the service.
Surviving family includes their sister, Winter Emery Green; parents, Reagan Noelle Powers and Patrick Ellis; grandparents, Donnie Powers, Shanna Kay Williamson, Ricky and Pam Melvin; great-grandparents Gayle and Pete Williamson and Mary Stephens; aunt, Mary Lacy (May May) and uncle, Wayne Dew; special friends, Gabby Powell, Jessie Sholar, Maurcie and Emerleigh Ford, Gerard “G” Thomas; and fishing buddy, Joe Graham; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
