Nancy Ann Soles Duncan, age 80 of the Williams Township community of Whiteville, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, with her family by her side.
Nancy was born on August 3, 1945 to the late Coy Soles and Hazel Birchfield Soles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sammy William Duncan Sr.; children, Ann Duncan Myrick, and Beth Soles; and siblings, Jack Soles, O.C. Soles, James Soles, Alice Gibson, Myrtie Price, Wilson Soles, and Margaret Soles.
Surviving family includes her children, Amy Cribb (Timmy) of the home, Michael “Crook” Duncan of Belmont, Steven Duncan (Carole) of Hallsboro, Kevin Duncan (Nickie) of Gastonia, Sammy “Buddy” Duncan Jr. of Mollie; 20 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
