July 27, 1964 ~ October 3, 2025 (age 61)
Roderick Drouin Sprinkle died unexpectedly on October 3, 2025 in a single car accident in Clarkton, NC after 61 trips around the sun. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his untimely passing.
Drouin is survived and profoundly missed by his six older siblings. His memory will be cherished and live on through his two nephews, four nieces and one grandniece. He had a deep love of Jesus Christ and always believed in the eternal life which is awaiting us all in heaven.
Drouin was born on July 27, 1964 in Winston Salem, NC. He attended St. Leo’s Catholic School, Bishop McGuinness High School and East Carolina University.
An avid outdoorsman, Drouin was legendary as a hunter in the fields and woods across the country but his true love was exploring the wilderness of North Carolina. Whether fishing on a local pond or in the glistening blue of the Gulf Stream, Drouin was happiest on the water.
His light burned brightly, he embraced each day of life and approached his dear friendships with unique joy and passionate enthusiasm. He never met a stranger, treated everyone he met as a friend and was loved by those who knew him. This world is certainly a lesser place without Drouin’s presence!
A celebration of life will be held at Long View Farms, 7153 Joe Brown Road North, Whiteville, NC 28742 on Wednesday, the 5th of November 2025 at 11:00 am.
