Alice Lee Phelps Hilburn, age 84 of Cerro Gordo went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Shoreland Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by her loving family.
Alice was born on January 28, 1941 to the late Arthur Lee Phelps and Gertrue Bell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Earl Hilburn; and sister, Norma Jane Dailey.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Porter Swamp Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family will speak to friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the church.
Surviving family includes her daughter, Laura H. Shook (David) of Red Springs; son Jeffrey S. Hilburn (Lynne) of Cerro Gordo; grandchildren, Bailey Lauren Shook Medlin, Morgan Lee Shook, Cory Austin Hilburn; great-grandchildren, Hampton, Palmer, and Levi.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Porter Swamp Baptist Church.
