October 14, 1936 ~ October 31, 2025 (age 89)
Lorena Jordan Soles, 89, of the Ward Station Community of Chadbourn, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Lorena was born on October 14, 1939, daughter of the late Clarence Devon Jordan and Mary Dutton Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James “Buddy” Soles; siblings, Lucille Mellena, Virginia Taylor, Thomas Jordan, James Bill Jordan, and Betty J. Coleman.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Worthington Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ward Station Church of God Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the service on Wednesday.
Lorena was a member a Chadbourn United Methodist Church.
Lorena leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, her children, Billie McKenzie (Patrick) of Charleston, Sherri Blackman of Chadbourn, Jordan D. Blackman of Chadbourn; grandchildren, Cameron Allmendinger (Anna), Haley Connor, Mitchell McKenzie (Katie); great-grandchildren, Dora Grace McKenzie, Phillip William Allmendiger, and one on the way; brother, Jack Jordan; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Candy Soles; host of loving nieces and nephews.
