A broken water main at Main and Mill streets may cause problems and outages in the downtown Whiteville area.
The city posted on social media and through the Whiteville Alert system that the break is affecting customers from Commerce to Columbus and Franklin to Thompson streets.
Some customers may experience low water pressure, while others might see total interruption while repairs are completed.
