East Bladen Girls 61, Whiteville 48
WHITEVILLE–Ariel Cromartie came back from a shoulder injury like nothing happened, scoring 30 points to lead the Eagles to a 61-48 victory over Whiteville Friday night.
The game was tight all night before the Eagles pulled away in the fourth quarter.
East Bladen with the win goes to 7-1 on the season. They will face Hobbton (0-0) on Thursday in Carolina Conference play.
Whiteville was paced by Ceonna Davis and Asia Smith, who poured in 17 points each. Whiteville(1-5) will play in the NC vs. SC Classic at South Columbus Dec. 29-30 against an undetermined opponent.
