- First Presbyterian Church in Whiteville will have online services Sunday at 11 a.m. Stream on their Facebook and YouTube pages.
- All outpatient services at Columbus Regional are cancelled Monday. Patients will be called with a new appointment.
- Columbus County Schools will be in remote instruction on Monday. Students should check Google Classroom for assignments and contact their teachers if they have any questions. Officials will make a decision regarding Tuesday as conditions develop. Monitor social media, school websites, and Remind. The most up-to-date information can be found on the Columbus County Schools mobile app.

Whiteville City Schools will operate on a remote learning schedule on Monday, February 2. All school buildings will be closed, and all activities will be postponed. Each school will provide specific instructions regarding remote learning.
- Southeastern Community College is closed Saturday and Sunday. Students and staff should be ready for remote learning Monday.
- All Latter Day Saints services in the region are cancelled for Sunday.
- Brunswick Electric Cooperative offices will be closed Monday.
- GFL will not be picking up trash in Whiteville Monday. The pickup schedule is expected to be as normal the rest of the week.
- County trash pickup will be one day late.
- Whiteville City offices will be closed Monday.
- Superior and District courts are cancelled for Monday. The courthouse will be closed.
