Horry County Police have charged a Nakina man with murder after a Tuesday shooting in the Longs community.
Elijah Taylor, 23, is alleged to have shot and killed Paul Greenwood in what HCPD called a “road rage” incident. The shooting stemmed from a collision in the 9000 block of Hwy. 90 near Star Road.
Taylor is shown on a witness video blaming Greenwood for the crash, and cursing Greenwood. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation, and Greenwood ran from Taylor as Taylor drew a handgun. Taylor fired four shots as Greenwood fled. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to HCPD.
Taylor is being held under no bond, charged with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
