That streak will continue at least 4 more days, and elevated fire weather concerns will continue as well.
A frontal system and a series of “shortwaves” will bring the next rain this weekend. Forecast model guidance still looks messy in painting the picture, but even so, nothing looks like a washout. So while a few showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, there will not be any significant drought relief.
