Whiteville Police are investigating a shooting at Covey Run II apartments Thursday around 5 p.m.
One person sustained a minor neck injury from a stray bullet, according to police.
Multiple shots were fired, damaging buildings and vehicles.
Multiple gunshots were heard in the city last night after the incident at Covey Run II. It is not known if the incidents are connected.
