Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Well we enjoyed one dry day but showers and storms are in our forecast for this afternoon. A cold front will drop south over the county late this afternoon or early this evening, and modeling suggests that a broken line of showers and storms will develop along and ahead of the front. Nothing significant or severe, but some places may pick up a downpour with some lightning later this afternoon.
Sunday will be dry with comfortable temps and low humidity. It’s going to be a gorgeous day.
Then another front drops south over the area on Monday. There will likely be some moisture off the ocean “pulled in” ahead of the front. Showers and thunderstorms are likely once again, and there could be some pockets of heavy rain with this.
Showers may linger into Monday night and Tuesday, but that’s rather doubtful. I did put a shower icon on the graphic for Tuesday but it’ll likely be dry. Dry weather with temps just a touch below seasonal norms should dominate the rest of the week.
