Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Today is going to be an absolutely spectacular day across the county. Below-normal temperatures and below-normal humidity, with bright sunny skies = Chamber of Commerce weather. The UV index will be off the top of the chart, though, so if you’re going to be outdoors today, stay well-hydrated and use that sunscreen.
Monday … won’t be so nice. Remember the cold front that dropped through yesterday? That front, well to our south, will spawn an area of low pressure off the coast. Meanwhile, another cold front will push southward over the state Monday afternoon. The combination of the two is likely to produce a round of rain and thunderstorms Monday afternoon into the evening, with scattered showers lingering Monday night into early Tuesday.
From there, strong high pressure builds in and brings dry weather through the end of the week, with steadily warming temps.
