Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Well… there’s not much to talk about in the weather department this morning. Sunny skies, comfortable temperatures, low humidity … you can’t beat it for the middle of May in southeast North Carolina.
Highs today and tomorrow will be in the upper 70s to around 80 with temps tonight possibly dipping into the upper 40s with crystal clear skies.

Prolonged dry weather is back upon us as high pressure ridging aloft and at the surface means little to no rain chances through much of next week. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90 through the entire period with lows in the lower to middle 60s. Fortunately the humidity values will be under control, so we really shouldn’t have too much issue as far as heat index goes.
