Here’s today’s Bottom Line
High pressure holds on today bringing lots of sunshine and seasonable temps around the 80-degree mark. Humidity and southwesterly breezes will bump up a little bit this afternoon.
A weak cold front will push down through the area tonight. Modeling has trended drier and drier with each run… any showers we get tonight will likely be spotty in nature, and I think most of us will remain dry. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
Another gorgeous day on Thursday with sunshine and temps around 80. Dry high pressure stays in control into next week, but will also push offshore leading to a building heat ridge. Temps jump into the upper 80s Saturday and into the 90s for Sunday and Monday with dry weather and sunny skies. Longer-range modeling suggests we’ll remain dry through at least the middle of next week with temps in the 90s. Humidity values should remain relatively in check so heat index values probably won’t be much higher than the actual temps. But… it’s going to be hot.
