One of the three suspects charged in a Monday murder in New Hanover County is from Sandyfield.
Skylar Marie Flores, 18, of 4004 Gen. Howe Hwy., is being held under no bond, charged with first degree murder, attempted robbery and felony conspiracy. She is in the New Hanover County Detention Center.
Warrants show Flores is alleged to have stabbed Adam Travon after assaulting the victim with a knife. A second female and a male suspect are named in the warrant.
Savannah May Sprouse, 18, and Kevon Sireal Stanbley, 20, both of Leland, face the same charges. They are also held without bond.
The three allegedly killed Adam Trevon Smith around 7 a.m. on June 16 in a parking lot on Carolina Beach Road, according to the New Hanover Sheriff’s Office. The killing stemmed from a robbery attempt.
