Here’s today’s Bottom Line

Hydrate… hydrate… hydrate.
Sunscreen… sunscreen… sunscreen.

Cirrus cloudiness helped keep our temps down a little bit on Saturday. It’s going to be hot one today though with more sunshine so, again, hydrate and sunscreen.

A cold front on Monday will be too weak and have too little atmospheric support to generate any meaningful precipitation. Thunderstorm activity will be isolated to widely scattered at best. The boundary will lift back to the north on Tuesday with another slight chance for storms.

Monday is going to be a scorcher ahead of the front with highs easily cruising to the mid 90s. We’ll be a little cooler with the front in the vicinity on Tuesday.

We then turn to a true summertime pattern for the rest of the week. Dry conditions will prevail with only isolated storm chances on the sea-breeze in the afternoon. Building heat will push our highs deep into the 90s toward the second half of the work week. Heat index values will eclipse the Misery Mark.
