Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Well this is going to be another brief blog update. Unseasonably chilly temps this morning will moderate to around 80 degrees this afternoon under bright sunny skies. That’s about 8-10 degrees below normal, by the way. We’ll drop back to the mid 50s again tonight with good radiational cooling over the area. Normal is in the mid 60s.
The high pressure cell responsible for this will drop southward to a position near the GA/SC/TN/NC border by the weekend, while Bermuda high is established offshore. This will result in increased heat and humidity for the weekend… it’ll truly be like summer here with lots of sunshine.
The next frontal system approaches on Monday bringing a chance for afternoon thunderstorms. Slightly cooler temps may arrive behind this system next week.
