Hot Dogs and Cool Cats will be the focus of Columbus County Animal Protective Services annual adoption event Aug. 1 at the county fairgrounds.
This year’s event has been shifted to the evening, from 5-9 p.m. Organizers are looking for vendors, food trucks, DJs and sponsors for the event.
The event gives area residents a chance to meet Animal Protective Services staff, find out more about the department, and meet adoptable animals from the shelter. Organizers said they hope to make this year’s event the biggest yet.
