ELIZABETHOWN—Los Angeles Ram’s defensive lineman Larrell Murchison came home to Elizabethtown on July 11 for his Annual Community Fun Day and Football Camp.
More than 70 campers enjoyed the event which is in its sixth year.

Friends and family from all over came to enjoy the venders, car show, and football knowledge shared by Murchison. DJ Al “Boogie” Lewis provided musical entertainment during the camp. Cadets from the Paul R. Brown Academy opened the ceremonies with the National Anthem.
Murchison’s excitement for the camp was shown throughout the day as he was repeatedly saying to the young campers, “Are you ready to put in some work?”
Murchison graduated from East Bladen and attended JUCO Louisburg College before continuing his education at N.C. State. After finishing at State in 2020, Murchison signed a free-agent contract with the Tennessee Titans. Murchison was placed on waivers in 2022 by the Titans and was picked up by the Los Angeles Rams.
The Rams this past season lost in overtime to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship 37-36 for a chance to play in the Superbowl.
All the campers got a free t-shirt printed with Murchison’s number 52.
