The suspects in a string of larcenies in the eastern end of the county were arrested July 20, according to the sheriff’s office.
Christopher Parrish and Ashley Nicole Harrell, both of Leland, were taken into custody and face charges in Columbus and Brunswick counties.
Parrish, 37, and Harrell, 43, are alleged to have stolen string trimmers from multiple locations in Riegelwood, and allegedly tried to take a chainsaw as well, according to warrants. The alleged thefts were reported July 21.
Both listed their address as 113 Lake Dr., Lot 14, Leland. They face similar charges, plus failure to appear and possession of cocaine, in Brunswick County. Both were held under secured bonds.
