Here’s today’s Bottom Line
A weekend that featured a couple of significant thunderstorms… but today is going to be quiet with deep blue skies, lower temperatures, and lower humidity.
High pressure will push down the Atlantic coast from the north bringing a northeast breeze today and Tuesday, along with the cooler temps and less humidity.
A weak coastal trough may set up by Wednesday as the high centers over the NC mountains. This may bring some increased cloudiness and just the slightest, slightest chance for an isolated thunderstorm (not worth showing on the graphic below).
A more humid air mass comes into play for Thursday into Saturday. A frontal boundary may push over the area Friday or Saturday; this increased heat and humidity, along with the front, will result in increased thunderstorm chances.
TROPICS: No Atlantic tropical activity is anticipated over the next 7-10 days.
