Mr. John E. Jones passed on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Shoreland Health Care and Ret Center.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021, 11 am at Union Funeral Home Chapel.
Viewing will be from 1PM – 6PM at the funeral home chapel on Sunday, August 1, 2021.
Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery, Rico Road, Clarkton.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Jones, Shelia Banks, John E. Jones Jr., Lionel Jones and Willie McMillian, four sisters, Odessa Long, Lillie Singletary, Tillie Peterkin and Blanchie Blanks, two brothers, Rev. George Jones and Herman Jones, 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
