Here’s today’s Bottom Line
Earlier in the year we had a rain-free streak, and we’re staring at another one. Yesterday was day #14 in Whiteville since our last measurable rain event.
High pressure off the northeast coast will continue to keep us dry for several more days. Temps will be around normal today and tomorrow but will rise above normal later in the week. We’ll have some breezy conditions at times… but again… we should remain dry through the middle of the week.
A frontal system then approaches the area Wednesday night. A warm front should lift north over the area early Thursday, followed by a cool front on Friday. Modeling is a bit scattered with regards to how much rain may occur… spreads from just a few tenths of an inch of rain to nearly an inch of rain Thursday and Friday. I’m not confident enough to go more than a 40% chance at this point.
