October 30, 1940 ~ January 6, 2022 (age 81)
Hilda Faye Wright, 81, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at her home in Indian Trail. Born in Columbus County on October 30, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Bertha (Faircloth) Wright.
Survivors include her son, Billy Ray Atwell, Jr., of Indian Trail; daughter, Chanteau Yvette Plowman and her husband, Walter Scott Plowman, of Indian Trail; three brothers, Bob Wright of Tabor City, NC, David Wright of Nakina, NC, and Roger Wright of Clarendon, NC; two sisters, Linda Moore of Cherry Grove, SC and Becky Digh of Gastonia, NC; and a grandson, Royce Lee Plowman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Louie, Charles, Rutherford, Benjamin and Lynn Wright.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 10 at Inman Ward Funeral Home, with Rev. Bradley Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in Wright Cemetery, Minos Meares Road, Tabor City. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
