The sheriff’s office is on the scene of a reported shooting death on Snake Island Road in the Old Dock community.
Chief Deputy Aaron Herring said the shooting occurred this morning. Investigators are currently at the location, Herring said, and one person is in custody, Herring said.
The homicide is the second reported in the county for 2022.
