Deputies caught a break-in suspect at the scene Thursday.
Jonathan Tyreese Smith, 23, of 172 Mangum Rd., Evergreen, was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond, according to detention center reports. He was charged with injury to real and personal property.
Tiara Williams called 911 after Smith allegedly went to her home on Arthur Graham Lane around 4 p.m. Deputies detained smith at the scene.
Williams told deputies that smith was trying to break into her home, and when that failed, damaged her Lexus automobile attempting to gain entry. The report said that the car was dented, had a cracked side mirror, and a cracked windshield. The front door to the home was also damaged.
Williams told deputies that Smith was attempting to recover a firearm and a cellular phone that he claimed were his property.
