Christian rock band Skillet, featuring Jordan Feliz and Colton Dixon, will be performing live June 12 at the State Line Movie Time Drive-In near Tabor City.
The concert starts at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are going fast, and cars will be parked in the order that they arrive.
Skillet is a Christian Grammy nominated rock band out of Memphis, Tenn. The band formed in 1996 and haven’t slowed down since, winning an award in 2011 for Hardest Working Band due to their strict, constant touring schedules. Their album Comatose, was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2009, but the album has since gone platinum.
State Line Movie Time Drive-In is located at 3851 Dothan Rd., Tabor City. Cooler passes are $10. Tickets are available at driveintheatertour.com.
There will be designated areas for outdoor seating as well as parking. All seats are properly socially distanced. Every new, packaged toy for the Toys for Tots program receives a free popcorn.
Sherry Barnes designed, built and manages Stateline Movie Time. The old-fashioned drivein opened May 9, 2019. Stateline is open Thursday through Saturday.
